Linn-Benton Community College is tucked into the farming lands of Albany with a staff and faculty-to-student ratio of 15-to-1 and a total of 7,881 enrolled students as of fall term 2025, according to LBCCs own Data center found on their website Going by this database, LBCC reflects a diverse number of students of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. At LBCC, 52% of students are 19 or younger and make up a majority of the student body; 43% of students are 25 or older. These statistics are tracked and calculated by Justin Smith with LBCC’s Institutional Effectiveness office. This data is similar to the transfer rate of students to other educational institutions, with 44% of LBCC students transferring to another school. Only 30% of students ages 25 and older transfer to another school.
